This Ramazan marks the second Ramazan at the Plano Masjid, one that continues with a longing, an umeed, late night ibadat, Dua , Zikr Husain with the Niyat of Aqa Moula (tus) Tashreef Aawri, for the Qadam of Dai al Zamaan on our Zameen of Plano, of Collin County, of our Masjid in McKinney.
🌙As compared to last year, this Ramazan – after a long period of identification, water proofing, testing, and continuous back and forth – our water issues have been resolved. 🤞Regular maintenance has now become key.
🌙 The addition of lights on stairs of the Plaza, leading up to the Masjid have proved beneficial, especially at night, for elders making their daily trek.
🌙 The Plaza – the 5,000 square feet area before the Masjid Doors has become a place for gathering, and for “Falooda Saturday”.
🌙 Muminaat Baheno are now occupying the second floor, with currently enough space for all.
🌙 Toloba / Talebaat have been crucial this Ramazan – performing khidmats of iftar serving, tazeen, helping various committees, and installing volleyball nets and basketball equipment in the Masjid parking perimeter – to promote Sehat and give farzando and adults a place to hang out after Quran / Namaz / Niyaz and before Bihori / Sihori.
🌙 BWA Plano with the Niyat of Taharat Asbaab and Preparing homes for Aqa Moula (tus) Tashreef Aawri, has given Silat of Wooden Chakdis – in reusable totes.
🌙 With the usage of the Masjid has come the realization of many different needs. Umoor Sehat now runs a weekly clinic with various Medical Professionals. Most recently Umoor Sehat gave a presentation and funded / installed an AED Unit (to help with suddent cardiac arrest).
🌙 We were delighted to have the Mayor of McKinney, his wife Maylee, City Council Members, City Manager, Chief of Police, Interfaith Leader, Leaders in the Health Care Sector and other Respected Guests – join us for an Iftar Dinner at the Masjid.
