Masjid / Masjid Related Updates:
- The Qibla installation has now reached the halfway point. The work is estimated to be completed in the upcoming week.
- Chandeliers for the Main Masjid as well as the Atrium are being assembled. It is quiet an intricate, at times tedious and time consuming process involving the attachment of the crystal balls. The weight of the main chandeliers borders around the 600 pound mark.
Special wooden structures have been crafted with the purpose of having the chandeliers upright while the frame is being built up.
- MVS – the audio / video / and security company is working with the contractors on completion of their “must have” checklist items so that they can initiate installation.
- It is the dil ni umeed of all Plano mumineen that Aqa Moula (tus) graces Plano for the Iftetah of Plano Masjid and mumineen get the Barakat of Ziafat at their homes.
On that end, at the Jamaat level their is a drive to create such housing / Qarzan related opportunities so that all mumineen have the opportunity to own their own house.
