As we approach the completion of the Masjid, there have been a lot of momentum and enthusiasm for the Mumineen of Plano.
- On Sunday, May 28, 2021 – there was a meeting with the Architect and GC to finalize interior finishes, date of completion, and plan to obtain CO (Certificate of Occupancy).
- On Tuesday, March 30, 2021 – a meeting was held concerning AV – installation of wall plates and equipment, control devices, gate devices, etc.
- On Thursday, April 1, 2021 – Janab Shk. Nooruddin bhai Yamani as a representative sent from Shehzada Malekul Ashtar BhaiSaheb Shujauddin (DM) visited the Masjid and met with Masjid Committee and Board of Directors to discuss Masjid Progress towards completion.
- On April 3, 2021 – the Mayor of McKinney, the Honorable Mayor George Fuller and his wife Maylee, and other distinguished guests visited the Masjid Site for an introduction to the community, tree planting, tour of the almost complete Masjid, followed by a Barbecue lunch. Mumineen, Muminaat, and their farzando were proud to represent their Jamaat.
- Following the Mayor’s visit, a fun-filled Youngsters Program, organized by TNC Plano / Collin County was held at a nearby park.
