Plano Masjid Progress Update – Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Pehli Raat Mubarak to all and Dua ni iltemaas – khaasatan that we continue to move forward towards the completion of Plano Masjid and soon see the day when Aqa Moula (tus) graces our Zameen, performs Iftetah of our Masjid, and leads us in the Matam of Imam Husain (SA).
The past two weeks have been an eventful two weeks – with final interior / exterior / landscape related finishes in progress.
Masjid Updates:
- During the visit of Syedi Shehzada Malekul Ashtar BhaiSaheb Shujauddin (DM), we were blessed with the Miqats of Arafat, Eid ul Adha, and Eid e Ghadeer e Khum. Syedi Shehzada Saheb (DM) has been instrumental in the Plano Masjid Project – from the inception and finalizing land, to ongoing guidance.
- Carpets have cleared customs and have arrived to Plano from Turkey.
- Masonary brick columns construction (for fence) is nearing completion.
- As schools in Texas are beginning to reopen, a backpack drive was held at the Masjid site in coordination with a local NGO.
