Plano Masjid Progress Update – Saturday, July 10, 2021
A year ago vertical construction was initiated with the installation of the Steele beams and now we are awaiting the day when Moula (tus) performs the Iftetah of the Plano Masjid.
Aqa Moula (tus) ni Dua che and Shehzada Malekul Ashtar BhaiSaheb (D.M) nu vision che – without which any of this would have been impossible.
With niyat of Shukur, mumineen of Plano traveled to Houston to do shukur Araz and Araz that Shehzada Saheb grant us the Sharaf of Eid ul Adha and Eid e Ghadeer e Khum, in Plano – which Syedi Shz Saheb (DM) has graciously accepted
Meeting Details:
- It was confirmed that the calligraphy and the art work on the glass should be readable/legible from inside. The glass installation work has started.
- We have the specifications of the granite counter tops at the toilet sinks. Tile vendor should start working on those from Monday.
- Tile work in the bathroom will finish soon so that the plumber can install the faucets.
- Location of the temporary tent was discussed and finalized. The tent should accommodate at least 150 people with light and AC facilities. Temporary toilet facilities would also be needed for the event.
- Contractor confirmed that they have gotten the wall flashings for the patios.
- Inshallah, we will have the occupancy permit before Gadheer e Khum.
