On Saturday, Mumineen, Muminaat met at the Masjid site, to see progress in the construction, make observations and suggestions – and most of all, to be a part of the journey.
Masjid Updates:
- During construction it was noticed that the ceiling was conflicting with arched glasses on the second floor. In the original design, there were no glass on the arched portion of the windows on the second floor due to the limitation of height. Proposal to go back to the original design or to lower all the windows on the second floor. This is pending a decision.
- The architect and contractor will update and show the progress of work in pictures every week.
- The duct work, electrical work, and plumbing work are going on in full swing.
- The manhole asphalt has been completed.
- The handrails of stairs will be adjusted according to the drawings.
- The case opening of the grand hall to the office corridor will be closed.
