On Monday, September 14, 2020 – a progress meeting was held at the Masjid Site with the Architect and Contractor.
Meeting Details:
- Repair work for Stud is complete.
- RTU screen design had to be modified due to layout of joists and size of RTU. Material to be on site on 9/16, anticipated completion 9/21.
- Water Fountain bid to be submitted by GC on 9/18.
- GC+ Arch + Owner will visit brick showroom before 9/18 to identify brick and stone color. Based on that selection GC will install 2 full size mockups with stucco color.
- Architect – Mr. Fahim Khan to modify the chandelier locations in men’s and women’s grand hall.
- GC will provide extra joist in Atrium for center chandelier.
- Fence design samples were reviewed and an ornamental design was selected, design for fence to be discussed further.
- Chandelier Designs for Main Masjid Center, Bairao Masjid, Sahen and Fouyer were explored and design awaiting approval.
Contractor to quote masonary + swing gates at 2 entrance and Picket fence around perimeter.

The Masjid Committee visited the Stone and Brick manufacturer’s plant to finalize the Stone and Brick for the entire Masjid.
- The Tone ane Color of the Stone was finalized, along with the Brick. The lead time is almost 45- 60 days.
